			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>When doing self hypnosis you must end the hypnosis session. This means that instead of getting up and just moving about, you need to set a way to clearly define in your mind that hypnosis has ended. Many experts recommend that a person never associate sleep with self hypnosis. While during self hypnosis you are in a very deeply relaxed state you are however not a sleep. There fore you should never just go to sleep to end a self hypnosis session because the mind will begin to associated the two different occurrences together though.</p>
<p>Just as there are many different ways to start and induction into the hypnosis state, there are many different ways that one can end a hypnosis session. If this is new to you  then it is best to experiment with different ways of ending a self hypnosis session to find the way that is best for you. We are all individuals and our hypnosis sessions will differ from that of someone else. What works for one person will not work for the next person. This applies with ending a self hypnosis session as well. With that said then you should not be discouraged when you have tried one or two different ways and neither one of them are working for you. Just keeping trying out different ways until you find the one that is right for you as an individual.</p>
<p>One way to end a self hypnosis session is to use visualization. In this you will visualize yourself coming out of the hypnosis trance and becoming alert and functioning. Visualize yourself becoming alert, then proceed to visualize yourself standing up. From there you can visualize yourself going back to normal daily activities. This should help your mind to make the distinction between hypnosis state and the alert state of mind.</p>
<p>Another way you can end the hypnosis session is to use your inner voice to talk yourself out of the hypnosis. Say to yourself in your mind what you need to for your mind to make the distinction and to draw the line mentally between hypnosis and alert. One thing you can say to yourself is that &#034; I am going to count backwards from 5 and when I reach 1 I will become alert.&#034; Then proceed to count backwards slowly from 5 to 1. When you reach 1 you will be alert and your self hypnosis session will have ended.</p>
<p>Some people may choose to do a self hypnosis session at night before bed. This is fine and of course bed time and sleep will follow the session. The only thing you must remember is that if you are doing a session at this time and are going to bed afterwards, you still must do something to end the session. It is not a good thing to have sleep and hypnosis combined together in your mind. So make sure that before you get up to head for bed that you end your session first.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Self hypnosis is looked upon in the same way by many as being hypnotized by someone else. There are many myths that surround hypnosis and even self hypnosis. Myths are just that though, myths. Myths are untrue and have no basis other than to scare the daylights out of someone. Myths surrounding hypnosis and even self hypnosis have no sound basis, they came about mostly because of uninformed people making an opinion on something they had no knowledge of.</p>
<p>Myth #1- I will be made to do silly and stupid things</p>
<p>Well let me say that no you will not be made to do anything silly or stupid. Your subconscious mind will not allow for you to do anything that is out of character for you. Also with self hypnosis you are hypnotizing yourself, so why would you be at risk of doing anything silly or stupid? After all would you try and hypnotize yourself to bark like a dog every time you heard a door bell? I really don&#039;t think so.</p>
<p>Myth #2-Forever being stuck in a hypnotized state of mind</p>
<p>This is not going to happen either. Your mind will not allow for you to go drifting off into Never-Never Land. As much as a lot of us would like to escape that way, it just will not happen. So you have nothing to fear about not coming back from your hypnotized state of mind.</p>
<p>Myth #3-Being out of control</p>
<p>Your conscious mind is still there while you are hypnotized so there fore you have nothing to fear when it comes to losing control. With self hypnosis you are fully in control of everything from start to finish.</p>
<p>Myth #4- Some one can come along and give me bad subliminal messages</p>
<p>For starters you are in control of your hypnotic state of mind. You can leave that state of mind anytime, therefore while you are self hypnotizing you can come out of that state anytime some one comes around you. Secondly your subconscious mind will not allow you to go against your character and moral ethics. So if someone is trying to get you to do something bad, subliminal messages are not going to make you do it against your own free will.</p>
<p>Myth #4- I can not be hypnotized</p>
<p>This is completely wrong. You can be hypnotized and can successfully hypnotize yourself if you choose to. People who can not be hypnotized are just making the choice not to be hypnotized. You have to choose to enter that state of mind no one can force you to. So if you make a conscious choice not to be hypnotized then you will not be hypnotized. This does not mean though that you can not be hypnotized.</p>
<p>Myth #5-Hypnosis is unsafe</p>
<p>Actually hypnosis is safe as it deals with a very natural state of the human mind. Hypnosis can be unsafe if done while doing something that requires you full attention though. You should not try self hypnosis while walking across a busy street as this would prove to be unsafe. Self hypnosis should also not be done when flying down the highway either. But if done in the comfort of your home or other areas where you concentration is not going to be needed, then self hypnosis is very safe.</p>

<p>Before you go off and start using self hypnosis to enlarge your penis there are some things you need to do first. One of those things is to measure the length and width of your penis. Keep  a record of the size of your penis each and every time you start a self hypnosis session. The next thing you need to do is take photographs of your penis. <p>Remember that when doing a self hypnosis session you should use positive messages and avoid any negative messages. One such negative message would be, &#034;I have a small penis. So keep all negative words out of your positive messages.</p>
<p>Positive messages that can be used are, &#034;I have a large penis&#034;, &#034;My penis is the size I want it to be&#034;, &#034;I have control over the size of my penis&#034; and any other positive messages. Remember also to use the visualizations that were mentioned above while implementing all positive messages during a self hypnosis session.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>While modern hypnosis is credited to Austrian Franz Anton Mesmer, it is actually an ancient practice. Hypnosis can be traced back as far as 3,000 years to the Evers Papyrus of Egypt. But Franz Anton Mesmer helps us to understand better modern hypnosis.</p>
<p>While I know you are wanting the history on self hypnosis, you must first understand the history of hypnosis as self hypnosis is hypnosis minus another party hypnotizing you.</p>
<p>Franz Anton Mesmer was 32 when he received his medical qualifications. His dissertation was written on heavenly bodies on people&#039;s health. This became the basis in which his philosophy of mesmerism would be founded on. His theory of magnetism would come from seeing a street magician use a magnet to get people to do his bidding.</p>
<p>Mesmer had success with patients when he used his new founded magnetism techniques. He then at the age of 43 moved to Paris. Mesmer had great fame and success until a group of people one of which was Benjamin Franklin began to investigate him. The group concluded that the people who were cured had done so with the powers of their own imagination and that their cure had nothing to do with Franz Anton Mesmer and his magnets.</p>
<p>It was in 1841 that Dr. James Braid would bring mesmerism back but this time be as hypnosis. Braid coined hypnosis from the Latin word Hypnos which happened to be the Greek god of sleep. Dr. Braid would go on to discover the fixed gaze technique that could cause a sleeplike state of mind. Many more people would follow suit and in the twentieth century Milton Erickson would begin to use hypnosis in his psychiatric practice. From there it was in 1958 that the American Medical Association accepted hypnosis as a medical form of treatment.</p>
<p>As for the history of self hypnosis there have been important connections between self hypnosis and the Jewish cabalistic mysticism made. Before it was used in western medicine, self hypnosis was used for healing and as part of human religious practices. Self hypnosis now a days is widely accepted as a scientific approach to self discovery and change.</p>
<p>The extent in which self hypnosis has become widespread is apparent in all those self help audio tapes that people are buying and listening to while they are in bed. This method is done in the hopes of achieving positive results while a sleep that will carry over into the waking conscionce. This is a far cry from the earlier day of hypnosis and even the earlier days of self hypnosis.. As history has unfolded and knowledge has taken shape, we have learned that if you have a problem or a bad habit hypnosis can be used to fix or cure your problem.</p>
<p>More and more people are learning more about hypnosis and bypassing a hypnotist and doing their own hypnotizing. No longer are people dependent upon a trained hypnotist for them to be able to use hypnosis to bring about positive change in their lives.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>There a some very common forms of self hypnosis that many people may not even be aware of as self hypnosis. According to researchers and scientists these forms of concentration  are actually considered to be forms of self hypnosis. Thus suggesting that all of us at one point or another throughout the day has used self hypnosis. Even the critics and skeptics that do not believe in self hypnosis have actually taken part in a form of self hypnosis.</p>
<p>According to what the researchers and scientists are calling forms of self hypnosis, reading a book is a form of self hypnosis. By definition of extreme concentration or trance like state, reading a book does fall into a form. After all when we read a book we do become engrossed in the book and allow our minds to conjure up images that go with what we are reading. While reading a book you have conjured up the images and your emotions will also follow suit to fit the book.</p>
<p>Researchers and scientist also show that watching a movie is also a form of self hypnosis. The trance like state that we enter when we become intent in what we are watching along with the emotions that surface while we are watching a movie, is a form of self hypnosis. Almost everyone of us has entered that form at one time or another throughout a week.</p>
<p>Daydreaming is another thing that they are terming as a form of self hypnosis. Many of us have entered in to that form at one</p>
<p>time or another during the day. After all it is hard to be at work and not allow our minds to wander off to a better place. Or be driving for a long distance and not find our minds drifting off somewhere else. So once again scientists and researchers have shown us that we all have used self hypnosis whether we wanted to or not.</p>
<p>Another form of self hypnosis is intense concentration on a project. A lot of what we do is done with the conscious mind. But when we are working hard on a project and we are being extremely intent in what we are doing, our subconscious mind will help out with the problem solving aspects. When our subconscious mind starts to help out, then this becomes a form of self hypnosis.</p>
<p>Scientists and researchers are also adding sleeping to be considered a form of self hypnosis. During the day we use our conscious mind to get through the day. Although when we become intent on something our subconscious mind comes around to help out, our conscious mind is still there. When we are asleep however, our conscious mind leaves and we only have our subconscious mind. With our conscious mind leaving and our subconscious mind being all that is left during sleep, then it is clear that this is one form of self hypnosis.</p>
<p>Self hypnosis is used for many things and now as you can see self hypnosis comes in many forms. Some of these forms you probably did not even realize was a part of self hypnosis. With this information critics and skeptics can now take a new look at self hypnosis and see that it is a part of all of us.</p>

When you need more than a book, there is a great audio tape available that will guide you through the self hypnosis session.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Almost everything has a trend that it follows. Things such as clothing fashions, cars, music and even hairstyles to name of few things that has a trend it follows. Some things will start out as one thing and then evolve into something else as people take hold of it and shape it to fit them. Self hypnosis is no different in the fact that there have been trends and even an evolution in the way that self hypnosis is perceived.</p>
<p>Self hypnosis started out as hypnosis in which you needed a hypnotist to hypnotize you. This was done for psychological treatment. At first it was under scrutiny but in 1954 it was recognized as a valid form of therapy. This paved the way for the many other trends in hypnosis that we would soon see coming.</p>
<p>Stage show hypnotist made there way into the limelight and have provided the public with some fun and entertaining shows using hypnosis. This took hypnosis to a new level that had nothing to do with medicine or therapy. This trend is one that to this day people still find fascinating. But unlike the medical use of hypnosis, stage show hypnotist are not going to try and cure you of anything. Instead they are going to just keep things relaxed and try and have some fun with you. This trend did open the doors for many frauds that made hypnosis as a whole look like a hoax. For this reason one can associate the use of stage show hypnotist with some of the myths and misconceptions that are floating around about hypnosis.</p>
<p>Self help audio tapes opened the door for people to start to look into self hypnosis. This seemed to be the point in which modern society in the United States seen people bypassing a doctor or trained hypnotist. Those self help audio tapes boasted what can be accomplished with the human mind when positive messages were introduced during sleep to the subconscious mind. This method became a really popular trend among many people within society. As well as being a popular trend it showed us the evolution that hypnosis had taken over the course of time.</p>
<p>From the self help audio tapes came trend of people actually trying to self hypnotize themselves to achieve the same results that a doctor or trained hypnotist would achieve. As with hypnosis there came much controversy and criticism over self hypnosis as there was in the past over hypnosis. Many in society believed these people to be weird and eccentric.</p>
<p>Now though in society self hypnosis is still hit with some resistance but for the most part it is accepted. More often self hypnosis is viewed as a form of holistic medicine that one can administer to one&#039;s self. In today&#039;s society self hypnosis is believed to be able to cure or treat almost anything imaginable. Everything from self confidence to pain management is viewed as something that self hypnosis can take care of. Self hypnosis has changed and evolved to stay alive within the many trends and evolutions of society.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Our memory is what helps us to remember important information. This information can be something told to us at work, a person&#039;s birthday or a very special event. It can be frustrating when we need to recall specific information and that information seems to elude us. Many people suffer from this problem on countless pieces of information. The good news is that by using self hypnosis you can improve your memory so that this information is more readily recalled when needed.</p>
<p>Our memory has three areas of classification. The classifications of our memory are encoding, storage and retrieval. The encoding part is what registers what we are seeing and hearing. The storage part is the area that stores this information for later use. The retrieval part is also known as recall and is the area that retrieves the stored information when we need it.</p>
<p>To give association to these classifications, we can liken them to an office that has three employees with you being the boss. Employee #1 is the encoding and it is that employees job to type up everything that you give him and then hand it over to employee #2. Employee #2 is the storage and it is his job to take the typed up information and place it into the appropriate filing cabinet. Employee #3 is the retrieval and it is his job to go and get the file out of the filing cabinet when you the boss need it.</p>
<p>This is were self hypnosis comes in. Self hypnosis is going to basically train your employees to be more efficient and better employees all around. Thus allowing you the boss to have a more sharper and quicker memory. By strengthening your memory, you will be able to encode more details about a specific event, more of these details will be stored into your memory and later more of the details can be retrieved at one time.</p>
<p>Using self hypnosis you are retraining your mind to latch onto more details and to hold onto those details. As it stands you mind will latch onto so much and then only store so much of that. Then when you need to recall those details your mind only allows for so much of the stored information to be recalled. So you must retrain your mind to grasp things differently. Once you have retrained your mind, you will see how much easier it is to remember details and such of an event.</p>
<p>When you are ready to use self hypnosis to strengthen your memory employees, then go to your local library and check out some self hypnosis audio tapes for improved memory. Most local libraries will carry these but if your&#039;s does not then you should be able to find them at a bookstore. But if by chance you live in an area that does not have a library or bookstore then look into using an internet based bookstore. The internet will definitely have what you are looking for in the way of self hypnosis audio tapes.</p>
