Steps to Inner Peace
What steps are you taking to find your inner peace? Are you taking notes, reviewing, and critiquing your notes when finished? Is your brainstorming the gallows of your mind to find answers to the nagging questions that claim inner peace from human beings each day? What steps are you taking to find your inner peace?
When you brainstorm the brainpower, you are challenging self to find answers to your problems. Many times people believe that others have the answers to our problems, but the fact is no one has the answers you do within self to find inner peace.
Taking notes and reviewing the notes will help you get a start on finding inner peace. When a person takes notes, they are reminding self. When the person reviews the notes, they often see between the lines a resolve for their problems.
I am not good at writing. This is one of the common statements I hear daily and it annoys me. I often tell the person if you tell your self that you are not good then you will never be good at anything, since your excuses will only lead to additional excuses in your lifetime. Regardless of the level of mentality, intelligence, wisdom, or ability you have, you do have the ability to take notes, review and critique your words, thoughts, and feelings.
All it takes is positive thinking. Instead of saying, 'I'm not good try saying, well, I lack skills but I have the ability to read what I write. Therefore, I am good at writing. If you want inner peace, you better work on those negative thoughts, because I do not want to hear it again. You are good. All of us a good in some area of our life and it takes us to see it and work toward inner peace.
If you do not like to write, draw illustrations on paper that express your thoughts and feelings. Review the illustrations to see what is in the picture and search for answers between the lines. Once you learn these skills coupled with self-talk, you will find it easier to get through the remaining tasks for finding inner peace.
A person can pay a therapist thousands of dollars searching for inner peace, but until you follow these instructions and learn as you go, that counselor will do nothing for you. Take it from experience, after spending more than 24 years in therapy and getting nowhere, I learnt the strategies to find my own inner peace.
Some people feel that inner peace is something we must find along the path of life. The fact is inner peace is a gift inborn into us when we were born. Therefore, inner peace as a gift needs developing. If you think of a child in his/her growing phase, you will understand developing.
The notes or illustrations will help you to see what you are missing in your life to feel quietness of the mind. Therapy in true meaning is the ability to reach within your mind and find answers, while utilizing your creative parent side doing so. If you have the ability to self-talk, analyze a bit, use your creative parent, and take notes while doing so, and reviewing when finished, thus you can do more than any counselor across a table can do in a lifetime.
Tips for notes
When writing notes do not think of writing, rather consider it a journey to finding treasure at the end of the rainbow.
When reviewing notes, instead of dwelling on one topic allow your mind to roam at leisure and see what you come up with and take the challenge. Learn while you are reviewing your mind and feelings, by questioning them as they come your way.
It takes you to find your inner peace. Sometimes it takes the assistance of medical treatment and mental help, but for the most part, it takes you to find your inner peace. Therefore, take notes, review and critique your mind to find your answers to inner peace. It will take time, but you can do if you pick up your swords and never stop your battle.
