Teaching Self Hypnosis To Others

Using self hypnosis to achieve your goals is a great asset to you. You have studied self hypnosis for some time and have mastered a way to self hypnotize yourself to achieve your desired goals. Now you are feeling a little selfish because you have this wonderful knowledge that you would like to share. The problem is that you just don’t know how to go about sharing that wonderful knowledge with others. Well that will be a thing of the past as you work your way through understanding how to teach your wonderful talent with others.

The first thing you will want to do is use your self hypnosis talents on the person that you intend to teach this method to. Use all your favorite inductions and positive messages on your intended student. This will allow them to see what it is like to be hypnotized. Giving them a little insight into what they should be striving to accomplish when they attempt to self hypnotize themselves.

Once you have brought them back to a level of alertness, you can begin to inform them on all that you know about self hypnosis. Start from the beginning and work your way through explaining all there is to know about a self hypnosis session that you have knowledge on. Take the time also to answer any questions that they may have. Don’t worry if you don’t know the answer. By now you should have a wealth of books and audios on self hypnosis that you can point them towards to find the answer.

Start with the induction phase and give them several ideas on how to begin the induction phase. As by now you know that no one is the same so one induction method will not work for everyone.

Next work with them on learning about positive phrases and visualization. Teach them all that you know about positive phrases and visualization. Explain to them that this part takes time as they may have to experiment with different phrases and visualizations until they find the right phrases and visual images that will imprint on their subconscious mind.

Now move on to teaching them about ending a self hypnosis session. Explain that self hypnosis is not sleep and that the two should never be allowed to become associated together in the mind. Tell them about different ways to help the mind make the distinction between hypnotized and alert mind sets.

It does not heard to address myths that surround hypnosis and self hypnosis with your intended student. This will help to alleviate any fears that may arise with the use of self hypnosis. The more comfortable the person is with this method the more they will advance and be able to successfully achieve self hypnosis.
